Now featured on Green Wedding Shoes! Where do I begin when it comes to Rachel Frances Rowe? I’ve known her as long as I can remember & even then, I thought she was the coolest person I’d ever seen! She knew how to sculpt, take photographs, knit, sew & cook, she was the ultimate best friend! We met in college, art school to be exact & as you could imagine, we were the art girls you’re probably thinking of. We would stay up until all hours of the night collaborating on giant fabric stomachs, or making vegan White Russian’s at art openings. We were even once part of an art collective called ‘Jesus Land!’ Yes, it’s exactly what you’re thinking…or not thinking. It would be hard to dig those days up, as MySpace was barely a thing. So, as we got older & Rachel became a wife & mama bear, we still remained the same quirky adventurous women that we always were. But now, our visions were more sophisticated, more clear. When I began Flora Pop on my bike in Brooklyn, we often talked about our dreams of owning some kind of vintage trailer. Instead, we built them ourselves. I couldn’t have Flora Pop without including my talented best friend. I knew that she would operate just as I do, it couldn’t have been more kismet.
Makin’ newlyweds out of couples across the Southern United States!
